NGC 6710 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0-a in the constellation Lyra in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 212 million light years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on August 3, 1864 .
