NGC 7301 is a bar-spiral galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type SBab in the constellation Aquarius on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 332 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years in diameter.
The property was discovered by Francis Preserved Leavenworth in 1886 .
