NRL 2002

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The NRL 2002 was the fifth season of the National Rugby League , the Australian-New Zealand rugby league championship. In the fifth season, the number of teams rose from 14 to 15, as the South Sydney Rabbitohs were able to prevail in court against their expulsion from the year 2000 and so participated in the game again. The first place in the table after the end of the regular season occupied the New Zealand Warriors . They lost in the final 8:30 against the Sydney Roosters , who won the NRL for the first time.
