The NSU 8/15 PS was a middle class passenger car that Neckarsulmer Fahrzeugwerke Aktiengesellschaft built between 1907 and 1910. It lined up between the smaller 6 HP and the larger 10 HP models.

The water-cooled engine was a four-cylinder block engine with a displacement of 1750 cm³ (bore × stroke = 76 × 100 mm), which made 16 hp (11.8 kW) at 1500 rpm. This engine had a triple bearing crankshaft, magneto ignition , automatic central lubrication and upright valves in a T-cylinder head. The 50 liter fuel tank was in the back. The fuel was pumped forward into the carburetor through the exhaust gases. The engine power was transmitted to the rear wheels via a multi-disc clutch in an oil bath, a three-speed gearbox with a link shift on the right and a cardan shaft . The wheelbase of the cars was 2635 mm, their track width was 1150 mm and the weight of the chassis was 600 kg. The top speed was around 65 km / h.

In 1910 the 9/18 hp replaced this model.
