Naoki Nakamura ( Japanese 中 村 直 幹 , Nakamura Naoki ; born September 19, 1996 in Rumoi , Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese ski jumper .
Career
Naoki Nakamura began his professional career as a ski jumper in two FIS races on March 1st and 3rd, 2013 in Sapporo , where he finished 36th and 48th. However, he did not play his next competitions until September 2013 as part of the FIS Cup in Râşnov , where he finished 21st and 11th. In the 2014/15 season Kobayashi made his debut in the Continental Cup in two competitions on January 16 and 17, 2015 in Sapporo and finished 24th and 53rd. Further appearances in the FIS Cup and Continental Cup followed, until Nakamura finally in the 2015/16 season made his World Cup debut on January 30 and 31, 2016 in Zakopane . Here he reached the 38th and 25th place.
At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2016 in Râșnov , Kobayashi won the bronze medal in a team competition with Masamitsu Itō , Yūken Iwasa and Ryōyū Kobayashi .
At the 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty , Nakamura won the gold medal in the individual competition ahead of Michail Maximotschkin and Thomas Lackner , as well as the mixed competition with his compatriot Haruka Iwasa in front of the Czech Republic and the second Japanese team. Three weeks later, he was also able to win the individual competition on the large hill at the Winter Asian Games in Sapporo and also win the team competition with his compatriots Masamitsu Itō , Yūken Iwasa and Yukiya Satō .
