Nash single six
The Nash Single Six was a six-cylinder car produced by the Nash Motors Company in Kenosha . It was only produced in model year 1930 and replaced the Special Six and Standard Six models .
The Single Six, model 450 , had a chassis with a 2,902 mm wheelbase. The side-controlled six-cylinder in-line engine had a displacement of 3,299 cm³ (bore × stroke = 79.4 mm × 111.1 mm) and developed 60 bhp (44 kW) at 2,800 rpm. The engine power was transmitted to the rear wheels via a single-disc dry clutch and a three-speed gearbox (with center shift). All four wheels were braked mechanically.
For the smallest model of this year there were various open and closed bodies, mostly with 2 doors. A limousine, a Phaeton and a landaulet were also available with 4 doors.
In 1931 the 870 with eight cylinders and the 660 with six cylinders replaced the Single Six.
