Natalja Nikolajewna Solowjowa ( Russian Наталья Николаевна Соловьёва ; born October 21, 1982 ) is a Russian biathlete specializing in cross-country summer biathlon .

Natalja Solowjowa first took part in Forni Avoltri in the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2003 and was after a seventh place in the sprint, eleventh in the pursuit and fifth in the mass start. In the relay competition she won the gold medal with Anna Sotnikowa and Olga Burowa ahead of the Ukrainians. It took three years for the Russian to compete successfully again in Cēsis at the Summer Biathlon European Championships in 2006 . In the mass start competition she won the bronze medal behind Yevgenia Mikhailova and Nadezhda Starik . The 2007 continental title fights in Tyssowez were even more successful . She won the sprint race and was second in the mass start behind Switlana Krikontschuk . Solovyova won a second silver medal with Mikhailova, Ivan Bogdanow and Alexei Kowjasin with the relay behind the representation of Ukraine. The 2007 World Cup in Otepää was not quite as successful with 12th place in the sprint and eighth place in the pursuit. The following year the World Championship in Haute-Maurienne went a little better . The Russian finished ninth in the sprint and improved to fifth in the pursuit. She also achieved good results at the 2008 European Championships in Bansko , where Solovyova again won bronze behind Yekaterina Sidorenko and Starik. The 2009 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Nové Město na Moravě , where Solowjowa did not win a medal for the first time since 2006, did not go quite as well . She was ninth in the sprint and 13th in the mass start. In 2010 in Osrblie she also missed out on being eighth in the sprint and sixth in the pursuit not only a medal, but also qualification for the victorious Russian mixed relay. She belonged to this again in 2011 in Martell , where she won the title with Olga Prokopjewa , Alexander Katschanowski and Sergei Balandin . In addition, she was third behind Pavla Schorná and Prokopjewa in the sprint and won the silver medal in the pursuit behind Schorná.
