Natallja Safronnikawa

Natallja Safronnikawa ( Belarusian Наталля Сафроннікава , English transcription Natallia Safronnikava ; born February 28, 1973 in Waukawysk ) is a Belarusian sprinter .

At the World Championships in Gothenburg in 1995 and in Athens in 1997 , she started over 200 meters , but was eliminated in the preliminary run. In 1999 in Seville , she reached the semi-finals over 100 and 200 meters.

In 2001 she won bronze over 200 meters at the World Indoor Championships in Lisbon , then reached the quarter-finals over 100 meters and over 200 meters in the semifinals at the World Championships in Edmonton, and finally won bronze over 200 meters at the Universiade .

In 2003 she was fifth at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham and sixth at the World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis over 200 meters . The following year, after the disqualification of Anastassija Kapatschinskaja, she subsequently won the gold medal over 200 meters at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest and was eighth over 60 meters . At the Olympic Games in Athens she reached the quarter-finals over 200 meters and was fifth with the Belarusian 4 x 100 meter relay .

Her last appearance at international championships was at the European Indoor Championships in 2005 , where she was sixth in the triple jump .
