Career
Nate Prosser began his career as a hockey player with the Sioux Falls Stampede, for which he was active from 2003 to 2006 in the junior league United States Hockey League . He then attended Colorado College for four years , for whose ice hockey team he played parallel in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association . In 2010 he was elected to the All-Academic Team and the second All-Star Team of the WCHA. He then received on March 18, 2010 a contract as a free agent with the Minnesota Wild , for which he made his debut in the National Hockey League towards the end of the 2009/10 season . By the end of the season, he prepared a goal in three games. In the following season , the American ran mostly for Minnesota's farm team Houston Eros in the American Hockey League and failed with the team only in the final of the Calder Cup at the Binghamton Senators , while he was only twice in the NHL for Minnesota Ice cream stand. In the 2011/12 season he ran for the first time mainly in the NHL for the Minnesota Wild.
After four years, his contract in Minnesota was not renewed, so he joined the St. Louis Blues in July 2014 . There he could not prevail in the pre-season and returned, without having played a competitive game, via the waiver back to Minnesota. In the summer of 2017, his expiring contract was again not renewed by the Wild, so he signed a two-year contract with the St. Louis Blues again in August 2017. In contrast to the situation three years ago, Prosser played a game for the Blues until the end of November 2017, before returning to Minnesota via the waiver.
In July 2019, Prosser joined the Philadelphia Flyers as a free agent .
