The 2017/18 season was the hosting of the British National Ice Hockey League . From the 2017/18 season, this represented the 2nd division of British ice hockey after the Elite Ice Hockey League , as the English Premier Ice Hockey League was discontinued. In addition to the English and Welsh teams, a Scottish team also took part in it.

Mode and participants

The teams played in regional zones "North", which is divided into a Moralee Conference and a Laidler Conference below , and "South", which is divided into a Britton Conference and a Wilkinson Conference below .
