The National Park Dalby Söderskog located about 10 km east of the Swedish city of Lund , has a size of 36 hectares and was established in 1918th
Dalby Söderskog is a deciduous forest with flora that can otherwise be found much further south. The limestone and chalk-rich soil favors the vegetation. Ash, elm, oak and beech trees grow in the park, as well as maple, alder, linden, horse chestnut and willow. The national park is particularly beautiful in spring when the forest floor is covered with wood anemones, buttercups, golden star and lesser celandine.
Half of the national park is surrounded by a peculiar and interesting earth wall that is 56 meters wide and about 1 meter high. It is assumed that it is the remains of an old refuge or settlement.
The national park is easy to reach from Lund.
