The National Road 216 ( Chinese 216国道 , Pinyin 216 Guódào , English China National Highway 216 ), Ch. Abbr. G216 , is a 857 km long in a north-south direction running highway in northwest China in the autonomous region of Xinjiang . It leads from Altay via Fukang and Ürümqi to Baluntai in Hejing County , where it joins the G218 .
