The national road 317 ( Chinese 317 国 道 , Pinyin 317 Guódào , English China National Highway 317 ), Chinese abbreviation G317 , is a 2,043 km long, east-west trunk road in western China in the Sichuan province and in the autonomous region Tibet . It begins in the metropolis of Chengdu and leads via Wenchuan , Ngawa , Luhuo , Dêgê , Chengguan , Riwoqê , Dêngqên and Baqên to Nagqu in the east of the Tibet Autonomous Region, where it joins the G109 national road .
