Naturally is a song by the American band Selena Gomez & the Scene from their debut album Kiss & Tell . The song was released as the second single in the United States and the first single in Europe. The song was produced by Antonina Armato and Tim James, who wrote the song with Antonia and Devrim Karaoglu. Musically, Naturally is an up-tempo electro-pop track. In terms of content, the song deals with a happy relationship, the protagonist sings about her happiness in the relationship.

Naturally has received critical acclaim and has hit the charts, including a top ten hit in the UK. In the United States and Canada, Naturally was awarded a platinum record. Gomez & the Scene sang the song on numerous appearances, including Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin 'Eve with Ryan Seacrest . About.com ranked the song 84th in the Top 100 Pop Songs of 2010.

Naturally is an electro-pop song with Hi-NRG and disco influences. Selena Gomez described the song as "light," "energetic," and "poppy." According to Chris Ryan of MTV News , the song is inspired by Kylie Minogue . According to CBBC, the song deals with a relationship in which the protagonist is happy about her love affair and sings about it. The lyrics explain that so everything in the relationship will be naturally . In an interview with MTV, Selena Gomez stated that she didn't want the song on the album at first.

criticism

About.com's Bill Lamb named it one of the best songs on the Kiss & Tell album . Billboard Magazine's Mikael Wood also praised the song, “It has a juicy and memorable hook.” Digital Spy’s Nick Levine said it was the best Disney single with club appeal since Miley Cyrus See You Again . About.com ranked the song 84th in the Top 100 Pop Songs of 2010.

Music video

The music video for the song was filmed on November 14th, 2009 and premiered on Disney Channel on December 11th, 2009. Lead singer Gomez said, "The video is nothing like our previous one," adding, "It has more outfits and colors. “The music video shows Gomez in different outfits. She appears in front of red and black backgrounds and sings the song with her band. The music video was directed by Chris Dooley. MTV News' Chris Ryan called Gomez a "dancing queen" and said, "She's cool and safe throughout the music video."

Charts

After the song debuted in the US download charts at number 65, sales continued to rise. Thanks to sales, the song made its highest entry on the American Billboard Hot 100 in the week of January 9, 2009 at number 39, and later rose to number 29 in the United States. Naturally, it was awarded a platinum rating in the United States and Canada. Record excellent. By April 2012, the single had sold over 1,854,000 copies in the United States.

In the UK charts, Naturally entered the UK Top 40 at number 7 . This is the UK's first top ten hit for a Disney Channel star since Hilary Duff's 2005 single Wake Up , which also reached number 7.
