Same Old Love is a song by the American singer and actress Selena Gomez . It is the second single from their second solo album Revival . It was released on September 10, 2015. Same Old Love can be found on the Just Dance 2016 video game .
Creation and publication
Same Old Love was written by Selena Gomez , Ross Golan, Charli XCX , Tor Erik Hermansen, Mikkel Storleer Eriksen and Benny Blanco and produced by Stargate (best known for working with Gomez as a songwriter on Come & Get It ). It also premiered on September 10, 2015 on the radio station 'iHeartRadio'. At the beginning of August it was announced that Same Old Love would be the second single. As with her previous releases, Gomez is said to be about her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber . The first excerpts from Same Old Love could be heard in the videos for the fan event, which Gomez published via Twitter and YouTube. The cover for Same Old Love was taken from the music video. Charli XCX also played the backing vocal in the chorus of 'Same Old Love'.
Music video
The music video for Same Old Love was filmed in downtown Los Angeles on the night of September 15, 2015 . It shows Gomez in an elegant black robe walking down the streets. Some photos from the shoot spread on the internet. An audio video for Same Old Love was published on Vevo on September 10, 2015 . On September 23, 2015, the official video was released on Apple Music. It shows excerpts from the revival event on September 16, 2015.
