Adriane dos Santos (born July 20, 1988 in Ji-Paraná ), best known by her player name Nenê , is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

society

As a child, Nenê began playing soccer at a club in Planaltina and then went through the youth teams of various clubs in the federal district before starting a professional career in the state of São Paulo in 2005 . In 2009 she made a short guest appearance at FC Gold Pride in the US WPS . Successful engagements followed at Foz Cataratas FC and above all at the Ferroviária sports association in Araraquara , with which she won the Brazilian double and the Copa Libertadores.

Nenê has been a member of the SC Corinthians from São Paulo since 2016 , with which she won the Brazilian Cup a third time in cooperation with the Grêmio Osasco Audax .

National team

From 2006 to 2008 Nenê was a member of the youth squad of the U-20 national team of Brazil, with which she participated in the South American Championships in Chile in 2006 and in her own country in 2008 , as well as in the World Championships in Russia in 2006 and in Chile in 2008 . In the latter tournament she scored her last international goal in the quarter-finals (2: 3) of her team against the German U-20s .

Her first appearance in the Brazilian A selection took place on March 6, 2013 when she was substituted on in a friendly against France (2-2) in Nancy . Her debut in the starting XI followed on June 19, 2013 in a friendly against Sweden (1-1) in Stockholm . Up until spring 2014, Nenê was used in a total of nine international matches, but then only once on December 7, 2016 for a short appearance in a game of the four-nation tournament in Manaus against Costa Rica .
