Niclas Rasck (born March 10, 1969 ) is a former Swedish football player . The defender won several national titles in Sweden with Djurgårdens IF .

Career

Rasck began playing football at Ludvika FK , for which he played in the third division for several years. In 1994 he joined Örebro SK in Allsvenskan . With the club he placed in the front midfield of the league. In December 1998 he moved to the Stockholm club Djurgårdens IF , where he initially signed a three-year contract. At the side of Lucas Nilsson , Magnus Pehrsson , Sharbel Touma and Stefan Alvén , he immediately established himself as a regular, but with the promoted team he missed relegation in the Allsvenskan in the 1999 season. After initially announcing the end of his career, he decided in January 2006 to continue his career for another year.
