Niekarmia (German Niekarm ) is a place in Upper Silesia . It is located in the municipality of Rudziniec (Rudzinitz) in the powiat Gliwicki (district of Gliwice) in the Silesian Voivodeship .

Niekarmia is nine kilometers north of the township seat Rudziniec (Rudzinitz), 23 kilometers northwest of the district town Gliwice (Gleiwitz) and 45 kilometers west of the voivodeship capital Katowice .
history
The place was created in the 13th century at the latest. 1295–1305 the place was first mentioned in the Liber fundationis episcopatus Vratislaviensis ( tithe register of the diocese of Breslau) as "Necarma".
The place was mentioned as Niekarm in the book Entries describing Silesia in 1783 , belonged to a Johann Gustav von Strachwitz and was in the Tost district of the Principality of Opole . At that time he had 52 inhabitants, a Vorwerk , five farmers and ten gardeners . In 1865 Niekarm consisted of a manor and a village. The estate was owned by Mr. von Zawadzki since 1850. At that time, the place had four farm positions, eleven outdoor gardener positions and ten cottager positions. The church and school were in Ponischowitz .
In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 25 people eligible to vote on site voted for Upper Silesia to remain with Germany and 87 for membership in Poland. After the division of Upper Silesia, Niekarm remained with the German Empire . In 1936 the place was renamed Dürrwalde as part of a wave of renaming during the Nazi era . Until 1945 the place was in the district of Tost-Gleiwitz .
In 1945 the formerly German town came under Polish administration and was then attached to the Silesian Voivodeship and renamed the Polish Niekarmia . 1950 the place came to the Voivodeship Katowice. In 1999 the place came to the re-established Powiat Gliwicki and the Silesian Voivodeship.
