The Nokia Lumia 1020 is a smartphone from the Finnish manufacturer Nokia , which attaches particular importance to photography and mobile image processing . It was presented by Stephen Elop at a press conference in July 2013 and has been officially available in Germany for € 699 since September 2013 .
Technical specifications
The Nokia Lumia 1020 has a 4.5 inch large OLED display with a resolution of 1280 × 768 pixels. The processor used is the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 2 cores and a clock rate of 1.5 gigahertz , which is allowed to access 2 gigabytes of RAM . The user also has 32 or 64 gigabytes of mass storage available.
The battery of the Lumia 1020 is 2000 mAh and can be charged both via the microUSB input and wirelessly via the Qi standard.
WLAN , Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC are available to the user as radio connections .
Digital cameras
Main camera
A special feature of the Lumia 1020 is the main camera , which has a comparatively large 1 / 1.5 inch sensor with 41.3 megapixels and 6- lens optics from Carl Zeiss , but the predecessor Nokia 808 has a slightly larger 1 / 1.2 inch sensor. This allows photos to be taken in up to 38 megapixels (4: 3 format) or 34 megapixels in 16: 9 format. Videos can be made in 1080p at up to 30 FPS . However, the plan is to compress the photos to 7 or 5 megapixels in order to take up less storage space.
The lens has an f / 2.2 aperture and a fixed focal length of 26 mm. An optical image stabilizer is also installed.
The Lumia 1020 also has a dedicated camera button.
Front camera
The wide-angle front camera has a resolution of 1.2 megapixels and an f / 2.4 aperture. Videos can be recorded in 720p .
software
operating system
The Windows Phone 8 operating system from Microsoft is preinstalled on the Lumia 1020 . An upgrade to Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 is possible.
Pre-installed apps
On the Lumia 1020, among other things, Nokia's in-house map service here and the camera software Nokia Pro Camera are preinstalled. With the latter, photos can be taken in the maximum resolution, while the standard camera app can take a maximum of 8 megapixel photos. In addition, apps for mobile image editing are installed.
