Norbert Rudolph (born June 7, 1960 in Zehdenick ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Rudolph was a midfielder in the squad of the GDR upper division club FC Vorwärts Frankfurt from 1980 to 1987 . He made his debut in the top division of GDR football on March 7, 1981 (16th matchday) in a 4-0 win at home against BSG Chemie Böhlen ; he scored his first point goal on May 9, 1981 (23rd matchday) in a 3-0 win at home against Dynamo Dresden with the goal of the final score in the 76th minute.

With the team he made it to the finals for the FDGB Cup in his first season , which was lost 4-1 to 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig .
