The OFC Champions League 2007 was the sixth edition of an oceanic championship competition for club teams in soccer and took place for the first time under this name from January 21 to April 29, 2007 with six clubs from five countries. The teams came from New Zealand , New Caledonia , Tahiti , Fiji and the Solomon Islands . The six clubs played in two groups, each with three home and three away games. Auckland City FC qualified for the tournament as defending champions of the last OFC Champions Cup. The other 5 teams won their qualifications based on their placements in their domestic league. The Port Vila Sharks from Vanuatu withdrew their participation in the tournament in advance. Waitakere United from New Zealand was invited as a replacement, as they were leaders in the New Zealand Football League at the time.
