Objection Overruled is the ninth studio album by the German heavy metal band Accept . It was released on February 1, 1993 on RCA Records . After the Eat the Heat sung by David Reece, the reunion with Udo Dirkschneider followed with this album .

Origin and style

The album, which the band produced themselves, was recorded as usual in Dieter Dierks' studios in Stommeln , after a pre-production in the Roxx studios. Wolf Hoffmann later said about the reunion: “That was great! I mean, making up and having reunions are always great in a way because you feel that sort of spirit or fresh wind again. It was great! We had a ball back then. "Hoffmann pointed out that the band wanted to pursue the classic Accept style on the album and did not want to dare to experiment:" ... and that's what we did. "

reception

Objection Overruled reached # 17 Jason Anderson in Germany Allmusic .com awarded three out of five stars. He particularly emphasized the fast pieces. "Far from being a total success, Objection Overruled should interest longtime fans of Accept, but neophytes are highly encouraged to seek out much earlier recordings ..."
