Blind Rage is the fourteenth studio album by the German heavy metal band Accept . It was released in August 2014 under the label Nuclear Blast and, like the band's last two albums, was produced by Andy Sneap . Even before the album was released, the single Stampede and Final Journey had been released.

Versions

In addition to the standard version as CD , the album was also sold on double vinyl. Also available was a limited CD version containing the entire performance of the band at the Teatro Caupolicán in Santiago, Chile on April 12, 2013.

reception

Holger Stratmann from Rock Hard said that Accept “inevitably built on their own classics like Balls To Wall or Restless And Wild ” with the album . He described songs like Dying Breed , Dark Side Of My Heart , Fall Of The Empire or 200 Years as "Metal hymns for eternity". He rated the album with nine points.

In the magazine Metal Hammer was Blind Rage voted album of the month. In the review it was mentioned that "the sound [is] perfect, the songwriting flawless, and the performance flawless". The album received six out of seven points.
