Bieberer Berg is a district of the southern Hessian city Offenbach am Main . Along with eleven other districts, it was formed in July 2019 from the area that had previously been free of districts.
location
Bieberer Berg is in the east of Offenbach. In the north it borders on the localities of An den Eichen in the Waldheim district and Offenbach-Ost . To the west lies Buchhügel , south of Tempelsee . Bieber joins it to the southeast . On its eastern side, the district borders on Mühlheim am Main .
Infrastructure
In a west-east direction, the federal road 448 crosses Bieberer Berg and connects the district with Obertshausen and the BAB 3 , which connects the district to the trunk road network. Bieberer Berg is served by city bus routes operated by Offenbacher Verkehrs-Betriebe in local public transport . The route of the Rodgaubahn also runs here, but has no stopping point .
The Offenbach industrial railway ran through the quarter . Last used in 1993, the facility has been almost completely dismantled. The route was rebuilt in 1996 to provide a fast and safe connection between the districts for cyclists and, as an industrial railway route, is part of the route for industrial culture in Offenbach .
