Capriasca is a municipality in the district of Capriasca , in the district of Lugano in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland .
Community merger
The municipality was created in 2001 from the merger of Cagiallo , Lopagno , Roveredo Capriasca , Sala Capriasca , Tesserete and Vaglio . Campestro was merged with Tesserete in 1976 . On April 20, 2008, Bidogno , Corticiasca and Lugaggia merged to form the new municipality of Capriasca.
