Olga Michailowna Burowa , formerly Olga Michailowna Pachomowa ( Russian Ольга Михайловна Бурова or Ольга Михайловна Пахомова ; born July 8, 1984 ) is a Russian summer biathlete who competes in the cross-country discipline.

From 2003 to 2005, Olga Burowa took part in the junior competitions of the Summer Biathlon World Championships for three years in a row . In 2003 she was in Forni Avoltri fifth in the sprint, won bronze behind Switlana Krikontschuk and Tetjana Lytowtschenko in the pursuit race, reached fourth place in the mass start race and won the relay race with Anna Sotnikowa and Natalja Solowjowa . This was followed by participation in Osrblie in 2004 , where Burowa was seventh in the sprint, fifth in the pursuit and in the relay race. She was disqualified in the mass start race. In 2005 the Russian competed again in Muonio . After finishing 15th in the sprint, she finished seventh in the pursuit and eighth in the mass start race. With Nadeschda Starik and Irina Borowskich, she also won bronze with the Russian relay.

In 2005 in Bystřice Burowa took part for the first time in the European Summer Biathlon Championships for women, winning two medals. She won the sprint title and, with Anna Sotnikowa , Dmitri Nikiforow and Timur Nurmejew, the title in the mixed relay race ahead of the relays from Germany and the Czech Republic. At the Summer Biathlon European Championships in 2007 Borowa won the bronze medal in the sprint in Tyssowez behind Solovyova and Krikontschuk. In 2009 she was seventh in the sprint race in Nové Město na Moravě and won the bronze medal in the mass start race behind Iryna Babezkaja and Tatjana Belkina . In Otepää at the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2007 Burowa was also at the start and ran into tenth place in the sprint and 15 in the mass start. After a year break, she returned to the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2009 in Oberhof and finished 15th in the sprint and ten in the pursuit. She finished the European Championship of the year in seventh place in the sprint and by winning the bronze medal in the mass start race behind Iryna Babezkaja and Tatjana Belkina. At the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2011 in Martell , Burowa took tenth place in sprint and pursuit.
