The operation Carne fraca ( German  Operation weak flesh ) is an action of the Polícia Federal do Brasil , the Brazilian Federal Police , which began on March 17, 2017th

Affected are the companies JBS with the brands Seara , Swift , Friboi and Vigor , as well as BRF , with the brands Sadia and Perdigão , which mixed refined but spoiled meat with the meat they were selling at home and abroad.
