Otto Knows , real name Otto Jettmann (born May 6, 1989 in Stockholm , Sweden ) is a Swedish DJ and producer who was best known for his single Million Voices .

Career

Otto Knows first made himself known in the house scene in 2010 with a bootleg for the song Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap . He then recorded the song iTrack , with which Otto Knows achieved his first chart placement, together with the also Swedish DJ Avicii and Oliver Ingrosso . It appeared as a double single with LoopeDe . In an interview with You FM he said that he has known Avicii for a long time. He went to a class with him and they started making music together. Their second single as a trio was titled Gino . In 2011 he worked with Alesso . They recorded the song Diz Diz , but it has not yet been released. He had his worldwide breakthrough with Million Voices . The song was released as a single on October 15, 2012 and entered several charts within a very short time. Among other things, it reached the top 5 in Belgium and the Netherlands . Shortly afterwards, the German DJ Thomas Gold mixed the song with Apologize from OneRepublic . The song also forms the basis for Scooter's hit 4AM . Million Voices was often compared with the song of the same name by Wyclef Jean , but Otto Knows refused.
