The house is located in the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the east side of Pölkenstrasse in a corner location. Immediately south of the house, a passage leads to the St. Nikolaikirche , in the street Neustädter Kirchhof. The house is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site .
Architecture and history
The three-storey half - timbered house was built around 1700. The upper storeys protrude slightly. For the construction period are unusually located on the upper floors Verschwertungen . Around 1900 the ground floor was renewed in massive construction.
