The house Pölkenstraße 34 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic Neustadt Quedlinburg and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . In terms of urban planning, it is of particular importance due to its striking location on an alley leading to the Neustädter Kirchhof. It is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building.
Architecture and history
The three-storey half - timbered house was built according to a building inscription in 1653. The inscription is no longer legible today, but it was handed down by local researcher Adolf Brinkmann . It was carved out of the wood. On the half-timbered facade there are old-fashioned, stylized dew sticks . In addition, there are corner struts and pyramid beam heads . A band of inscriptions is incorporated into the threshold.
