It is located in the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the east side of Pölkenstrasse and is listed in the Quedlinburg monument register as a farm bourgeoisie. The house Pölkenstrasse 46 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the north and Pölkenstrasse 48 to the south .

Architecture and history

The three-storey half - timbered house was built around 1870. Before that, there was a half - timbered house built in 1788 together with the neighboring house number 47 by master carpenter Johann G. Stegmann. An inscription JG STEGMAN Z. MEISTER with a coat of arms refers to him . The courtyard development consists of various half-timbered buildings and wall remnants, mainly from the 17th and 18th centuries, whereby the courtyard buildings correspond to the courtyard of the property on Pölkenstrasse 48, which is adjacent to the south.
