The house Pölkenstrasse 7 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located in the historic Neustadt Quedlinburg opposite the junction of Kaiserstrasse and Pölkenstrasse and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The building is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. To the north is the also listed building on Pölkenstrasse 8 .

Architecture and history

The three-storey house was built as a tenement house in 1903/04. The design took place in the forms of Art Nouveau , with Gothic elements being used in particular . The facade consists of clinker bricks with a structure using plaster elements. The symmetrical facade is emphasized by a medium risalit . In the southern half of the building there is a bay window on the first floor .
