The house at Pölkenstraße 19 is a listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic Neustadt Quedlinburg on the west side of Pölkenstrasse. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The building is registered as a merchant's house in the Quedlinburg monument register. The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Pölkenstrasse 18 to the south .
Architecture and history
The three-storey half - timbered house was built in 1693 by the master carpenter Gabriel Rühle . The inscription M. GABRIEL RUHLE ZIMMRMAN with a coat of arms refers to him . There is a large passage way on the ground floor of the house. Diamond crosses can be found in the parapets of the half-timbered facade . The edge compartments of the second floor are provided with half-timbered figures of the Half Man , a very early appearance of this decorative form in Quedlinburg. In addition, there is a frieze of droplets under the final profile on the threshold . A centrally with is loading hatch provided Zwerchhaus arranged.
On the south side of the courtyard there is a building wing made of bricks from around 1900. The northern courtyard wing is older and was built in the 17th century. The three-storey building is a half-timbered construction, with the ground floor being a massive construction. It rests on a square base and has ankle straps. The second floor was built in the 19th century.
