It is located in the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the east side of Pölkenstrasse and is listed in the Quedlinburg monument register as a farm bourgeoisie. Pölkenstrasse 26 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the north and Pölkenstrasse 28 to the south .
Architecture and history
The Ackerbürgerhof has a two-story house facing Pölkenstrasse. It was created in the first third of the 19th century. The symmetrical facade is designed in the classicism style and structured by pilasters . The facade of the upper floor is decorated with a frieze and tooth cut towards the console cornice . On the ground floor there is a plaster block. The pilaster portal with triglyphs and tooth cut on the architrave as well as the carved, classicist house entrance door with a skylight are remarkable . There are two shops on the ground floor of the house.
