LEDA / PGC 41646 (also IC 3481A ) is an elliptical dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . The galaxy is an estimated 325 million light years from the Milky Way and is approximately 20,000 light years across. Together with IC 3481 and IC 3483 , it forms the galaxy triplet Arp 175 .
Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class galaxies with narrow opposing arms .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4503 , NGC 4528 , IC 3446 , IC 3470 .
