Pan American Games 2011 / Athletics - Men's Long Jump

The men's long jump at the 2011 Pan American Games took place on October 25, 2011 at the Telmex Athletics Stadium in Guadalajara .

Twelve athletes from eleven countries took part in the competition. The gold medal went to Daniel Pineda with 7.97 m, silver went to David Registe with 7.89 m and the bronze medal went to Jeremy Hicks with 7.83 m.

On November 9, 2011, the original winner, Víctor Castillo, was disqualified for a positive doping test. Methylhexanamine was found in his doping sample .
