The men's 5,000-meter run at the 2015 Pan American Games was held on July 25 at the CIBC Pan Am and Parapan Am Athletics Stadium in Toronto .

16 runners from ten countries took part in the run. The gold medal was won by Juan Luis Barrios after 13: 46.47 min, silver went to David Torrence with 13: 46.60 min and the bronze medal was won by Víctor Aravena with 13: 46.94 min.
