Election result

Election results by constituency

The election winner was the alliance of the Federation of the Democratic Left (SLD) and the Labor Union (UP), with 41.04% it was now the strongest force in the Sejm. In addition, 3 parties made it into parliament for the first time, including the Self-Defense of the Republic of Poland (Samoobrona), Law and Justice (PiS) and the League of Polish Families (LPR). This was tantamount to a political earthquake, as the election campaign Solidarność (AWS), previously the strongest force, and the Freedom Union (UW) collapsed massively and missed re-entry into parliament.
