Paul Kiprop Kirui (born February 5, 1980 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon .

In 2002 he won the Humarathon and was tenth at the World Half Marathon Championships in Brussels . The following year he came second in the Humarathon and won the Berlin Half Marathon .

In 2004, after victories at Roma - Ostia and the Berlin Half Marathon, he won the title at the World Half Marathon Championships in New Delhi . In the New York City Marathon he came in eighth place.

In 2005 he finished seventh in the Lisbon half marathon and second in the Milan marathon .

The following year he was runner-up at the Rotterdam Marathon , the Udine Half Marathon and the JoongAng Seoul Marathon . In 2007 he finished second in the Seoul International Marathon and fourth in the Amsterdam Marathon , and in 2008, after finishing fifth in Rotterdam, he won a triumph in Amsterdam.

In 2009 he finished second in the Rome Marathon and in 2010 third in the Seoul International Marathon. In 2011 a seventh place in the Xiamen Marathon and an eighth place in the Vienna City Marathon was followed by a victory in the Brussels Marathon . In 2012 he finished sixth in the Madrid Marathon .
