The Perry Township is one of 18 townships in Jackson County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of Iowa .

The Perry Township is located in eastern Iowa about 15 km west of the Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois . The Wisconsin border is around 25 miles north.
The Perry Township is located at 42 ° 09'42 "north latitude and 90 ° 36'26" west longitude and extends over 93.2 km². The township is southwest of the northern arm of the Maquoketa River , a right tributary of the Mississippi.
Perry Township is located in the center of Jackson County and borders on Richland Township in the north, Bellevue Township in the northeast, Jackson Township in the east, Fairfield Township in the southeast , Maquoketa Township in the south, and the in the southwest South Fork Township , to the west to Farmers Creek Township and to the northwest to Otter Creek Township .
