The mill Haus Baerlo was a watermill in Nettetal -Baerlo with an undershot water wheel .
geography
The mill Haus Baerlo stood on the castle moat, a no longer existing tributary of the Nette, and was located in Baerlo 12, a district of the city of Nettetal. The area on which the building stood has a height of approx. 42 m above sea level .
Waters
The moat once surrounded the manor Baerlo. Its sources formed a small stream that flowed into the Nette . The care and maintenance of Nice is up to the Nice Association .
history
The manor Haus Baerlo also had a small manor mill for its own use . It was mentioned as early as 1326 on the occasion of an enfeoffment. Around 1690, the owner moved it to a more convenient location with a spring. By 1800 the mill had disappeared from the scene.
