The area has a height of approx. 44 m above sea level . The maintenance and upkeep of the Mühlenbach is the responsibility of the Netteverband .
history
The Weiher Mühle was built as an estate mill near the fort in 1430 , when the Lüthemühle was separated from the Sprinckelhoven estate after an inheritance was divided. In 1488 the manor and mill belonged to the Lords of Kreckenbeck. In 1681 the gentlemen von Schinck zu Overlinck and Hilgenhoven are named as owners. The mill was only used as a flour mill and had constant water shortages. In 1835 the mill had an undershot water wheel, a channel and a grinding tunnel . She paid 2 thalers in tax . When major repairs were due in 1840, the mill was closed.
