history
In 2010 Irma and Peter Biermanns wore the royal dignity of the St. Peter and Paul Rifle Society in Hatterath. They had the idea of building a chapel with their two sons from private funds out of gratitude. Together with friends of the family, an octagon- shaped building was created. On June 29, 2011, Peter and Paul Day, the chapel was blessed and given its purpose in a ceremony.
architecture
The Peter and Paul Chapel is a small brick building in the shape of an octagon. Entrance and windows are provided with arches . Inside, a crucifix with a large round candle holder hangs in the middle of the room . A table and a lectern as well as numerous candle holders are made of horseshoes and adorn the room.
