Peter Hans Felzmann

Peter Hans Felzmann (born April 25, 1950 ) is an Austrian scenographer , set designer and multimedia artist.

Life

After attending the master class for graphics and painting at the University of Applied Arts Vienna , Peter Hans Felzmann worked in the communications industry for almost 30 years before he returned to his artistic roots. Since 1999 he has devoted himself exclusively to work in the field of scenography, museum and exhibition architecture, stage design, as well as film and multimedia. He lives in Linz , Upper Austria .

Working in the field of art and culture

• 1973: The Academy f. Angew. Art sends 3 works to the Biennale 73, Venice.
• 1974–1983: numerous works in the field of stained glass windows.
• 1983: Linz ball action, “We give Linz the ball”, (three-day action-art event as an impetus for Linz's cultural policy).
• 1999: Brucknerfest 1999, Brucknerhaus Linz, "2001 An Odyssey Today", paraphrase of the classic film by Stanley Kubrick .
• 2001: Winner of the tender f. artificial Interior design of the new Admont Abbey Museum .
• 2003: Museum of Admont Abbey opens .
• 2004: Winner of the “ Wilhelm Leuschner House” competition, Bayreuth . As an Austrian, Felzmann designed the first museum of resistance against the Nazi dictatorship in Germany.
• 2005: Winner of the Radwerk IV tender, blast furnace museum, Vordernberg .
• 2006: Multimedia design of the "Spine" pavilion, Styrian State Exhibition 2006 - "Paths to Health".
• 2007: Design of the Johann Simon Mayr exhibition, Ingolstadt , Bergamo and Amsterdam
• 2008: Opening of a multimedia double mirror room “Pet's Universe” for Vitakraft , Bremen .
• 2009: Opening of the crystal cathedral Stift St. Paul im Lavanttal , European exhibition 09, multimedia projects: Benedict v. Nursia - Life, Regula Benedicti, The Creation, St. Gallen Monastery Plan.
• 2009: Opening of the Upper Austrian Provincial Exhibition 2009 - “Meal” in Schlierbach Abbey .
