Pierre I de Luxembourg (* 1390 ; † August 31, 1433 in Rambures an der Pest ) from the House of Luxemburg-Ligny was Count of Brienne and Conversano from 1397 to 1433 and Count of Saint-Pol from 1430.

Duke Philip III the good of Burgundy made Peter a founding member of the Order of the Golden Fleece in 1430 . John of Lancaster , who had married his daughter Jacqueline (Jacquetta) in 1433, gave him command of an army corps with which he besieged Saint-Valéry . He died of the plague in Rambures in 1433 . He was buried in a magnificent tomb in the Cercamp Abbey .

He was the son of Jean de Luxembourg (* 1370 † 1397), Seigneur de Beauvoir , and Marguerite d'Enghien, Countess of Brienne and Conversano, thus the grandson of Guy de Luxembourg , Count of Ligny , and Mahaut de Châtillon, Countess of Saint-Pol. His brothers were Chancellor Ludwig († 1443) and Count Johann II of Ligny († 1441).

In 1405 he married Marguerite des Baux (* 1394 † 1469), daughter of François des Baux (Francesco del Balzo), Duke of Andria , and Sueva Orsini. Your children were:
