Peter Stankovic

Peter Stankovic (born July 15, 1962 ) is a former German ice hockey player who played in the Bundesliga for SB Rosenheim and SC Riessersee .

Player career

The 1.76 m tall striker began his professional career in the 1980/81 season at SB Rosenheim , with whom he won the German championship in 1982 . After this success, Stankovic moved to league rivals SC Riessersee , for whom he was on the ice until the end of the 1984/85 season . The attacker then signed a contract with the second division club BSC Preussen . Peter Stankovic came to Heilbronner EC via the Augsburg EV , where he subsequently rose to become one of the leading players. In 1991/92 he left the HEC and played for the EHC 80 Nürnberg for four years . After their classification in the newly founded DEL in 1994, the attacker left the " Ice Tigers " in order to work for his former employer from Heilbronn in the new, second-class "1. League "to run up. After the 1996/97 season , Stankovic ended his active career and is still among the top 5 in all of the HEC's best lists, for example in the number of games played or points scored .
