Peter White (born October 10, 1937 in New York City ) is an American actor .

life and career

Peter White studied from 1955 to 1959 at Northwestern University , where he earned a Bachelor of Science . However, he then turned to acting and studied at the Yale School of Drama until 1962 . White initially worked as an actor in smaller theater productions. He had the end of the 1960s as a married lawyer on a gay party in successful his first major role off-Broadway -Stück The Boys in the Band , he played the same role in the same film adaptation of William Friedkin . Then White was seen in a total of over 80 film and television productions, with the early gray actor playing predominantly high-ranking figures such as politicians, judges or professors. For example, he starred in the political thriller Thirteen Days in 2000 as a government official John McCone . White was also known to American television audiences through his 30-year role as Linc Tyler in the soap opera All My Children .
