Peter Zilles

Peter Zilles (born July 12, 1946 in Cologne ; † 1998 ) was a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Zilles completed his acting training in Rostock. As a theater actor, he appeared in Rostock and at the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen.

He became known to a wide audience through his numerous appearances in film and television. He played under the direction of Oliver Storz in Near Trinidad , under the direction of Sönke Wortmann in Fotofinish and Drei D and under the direction of Vivian Naefe in The Boss from the West . From 1989 to 1992 he was a craftsman “Oskar Wagner”, along with Christoph M. Ohrt and Ulrike Kriener, in the regular cast of the 52-part early evening series Das Nest about a flat share in Wiesbaden. He had other series roles as the son of Wilfried Ortmann in Mit List und Krücke and alongside Towje Kleiner in Kowalsky . In addition, he took on numerous guest roles in episodes of television series such as Der Fahnder , Schwarz Rot Gold , Faust , Ein Fall für Zwei and Eurocops

He also worked extensively as a speaker for radio play productions and dubbing. He voiced "Bob Rooney" , played by EE Bell , in six episodes of the sitcom A Terribly Nice Family . In addition, he synchronized various characters in the series Mit Schirm, Charme und Melone , ALF , Cheers and Die Nanny . For the German version of The Simpsons , he also lent the voice to various characters, including Snake in the episode Oh pain, the heart! and Mayor Quimby in the episode The Lifesaver .
