Pflattermühle is a residential area of ​​the Wieseth community in the Ansbach district ( Middle Franconia ).

geography

The wasteland, consisting of two residential buildings and three auxiliary buildings, is located on the Pflatterbach , a right tributary of the Wieseth . Immediately to the west, the Höfstetter Graben flow as the left upper course and the Fetschendorfer Graben as the right upper course of the Pflatterbach and feed a chain of ponds. Otherwise the place is immediately surrounded by arable land and grassland. A community connecting road runs to Untermosbach (0.7 km southeast) or to Wieseth to state road 2222 (0.6 km northeast).

history

Pflattermühle was first mentioned in a document in 1445 when the Heilsbronn Monastery bought the property.

The place was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . Waizendorf was the landlord of the Mahlmühle . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century), Pflattermühle was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Wieseth. After 1885 the Pflattermühle was no longer managed as a district.

Former architectural monument

  • Flattermühle: Early 18th century. Single storey stable house with high gable. A mill wheel and deer antlers in relief on the lintel. The year 1725 and weathered monogram.
