Zimmerdorf is a district of the community of Wieseth in the district of Ansbach ( Middle Franconia ).

geography

The hamlet is located on the Dorfgraben, which flows into the Wieseth one kilometer further east as a right tributary . The Gigerthut corridor borders in the south. A community road leads to Miegendorf (1.6 km southeast) or Wieseth (0.5 km north).

history

In 1336 Anna, Agnes and Irmgard von Lentersheim donated a property in "Symannsdorf" to Heilsbronn Monastery. In 1386 the monastery bought other goods there. In 1575 20 acres of forest were acquired from the monastery .

Zimmerdorf was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 4 properties (1 courtyard, 2 half courtyards, 1 Gütlein). The administration of Waizendorf held the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties . From 1797 to 1808 the place belonged to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Zimmerdorf was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Wieseth.
